For the 10th straight year, the Pocket Radar team had a great start to 2020 at the American Baseball Coaches Association national convention. As on Official Partner of ABCA, we are dedicated to providing the most accurate technology to the baseball community, at an affordable price. "The ABCA hosts the World's largest baseball convention each January with over 7,000 coaches worldwide and more than 350 exhibiting companies as part of the ABCA Trade Show. The convention features over 50 clinics on a variety of baseball topics."
The annual convention was held in Nashville, Tennessee from January 2-5, 2020. We had a wonderful time chatting with many familiar and new coaches alike, and educating them about the value of speed measurement when training athletes, old and young, to improve their hitting power and mixing pitch speeds.

This was also the second year in a row that Pocket Radar participated in the Expo Theater presentations. The 2020 presentation title was "Digital Age Recruiting & Organizing Your Data with Systems like Driveline TRAQ." Our CEO, Steve Goody, moderated the presentation which featured presenters: Ben Buechner (Santa Rosa Junior College) and Max Engelbrekt (Driveline Baseball). Watch the presentation below:
We also had a very productive exhibit hall speaking with numerous other companies and media members. There was even a fastest throwing competition inside "The Top 100 Sports" booth that featured a live leader-board from the SportsBoard team, with the winner taking home a new Smart Coach Radar.

The 2020 ABCA Convention, held in Nashville from January 2-5, 2020 concluded after four jam-packed days of baseball featuring 7,100 coaches and more than 350 baseball companies in attendance. The convention, which was held in the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, featured more than 50 clinics across the main clinic hall, Youth Coaches Session and Expo Theater. In addition, attendees explored the nearly 200,000 sq. ft. ABCA Trade Show, participated in Q&A and Hot Stove Sessions, celebrated coaching peers receiving awards, took part in committee & divisional meetings, networked at the ABCA Coaches Social and more throughout the weekend!
The next ABCA Convention, which will be the 77th annual convention, will be held in Washington, D.C. at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center from January 7-10, 2021. Be sure to keep an eye out for more information regarding the 2021 Convention beginning this summer on the ABCA website and our social media platforms as well as in the My ABCA app, Inside Pitch Magazine and Press Box e-newsletter.
