Pocket Radar Ball Coach Model Becomes the “Official Radar Gun” for Got’Em Baseball Select 60 Evaluations

March 23, 2015 –  Got’Em Baseball is proud to announce a partnership with Pocket Radar Inc., provider of innovative speed measurement technology designed for coaching and training.

Pocket Radar’s Ball Coach model has been named as the Official Radar Gun of Got’Em Baseball and will be integrated into all Got’Em Baseball Select 60 Evaluations. Got’Em Baseball will use the Ball Coach radar to capture player data for use in Select 60 Evaluation and for training purposes. This data will be provided directly to players, parents and coaches to give them a framework for where they stand nationwide and how to continue their on-field success.

Back in 2012 people called us crazy for publishing rankings on players as young as 10 years old,”said Gabriel Rios, founder of Got’Em Baseball.  ”Truth be told those crazy comments were exactly the response we had hoped for. I’m a believer that If your idea or dream isn’t considered a little crazy you probably aren’t dreaming big enough. We here at Got’Em Baseball like to fancy ourselves as an innovative company pushing the envelope when it pertains to amateur baseball. With our Select 60 Player Rankings we knew it was important to start adding hard numbers to the equation in order to solidify our rankings. Over the course of the last eight months we have developed a true five tool evaluation system that will be used at all Select 60 Evaluations and we are pumped up to announce Pocket Radar has become the ‘Official Radar Provider’ for our Got’Em Baseball and our Select 60 Player Evaluations.

The Ball Coach radar is a speed training tool for player development through one-on-one coaching or self-guided drills and hands-free operation keeps it simple. By making crucial results like hitting power, pitching speeds and throwing speeds instantly visible, training with the Ball Coach radar helps athletes get better faster.

We’re excited to be working with Got’Em Baseball to incorporate our award-winning Ball Coach radar into all of their training Select 60 Player Evaluations,” said Steve Goody, CEO and co-founder of Pocket Radar, Inc. “Athletes will now have the added advantage of world-class rankings and measurement technology, combined.”

Together, Pocket Radar and Got’Em Baseball will reach thousands of serious baseball players through numerous grassroots efforts. Got’Em Baseball will help to promote and sell Pocket Radar’s Ball Coach model through events, online and the company’s various digital and social media platforms.
